KOSIMO Announces SOCA SOUNDS 2017
RGF/ZOOGANG's F.A.M.E. 1738 is on his way to Linden, NJ with an extremely talented local-ensemble of supporting acts ready to put on a show.
F.A.M.E. (Fuck All My Enemies), whose real name is Samuel Irizarry, is a producer straight out of Paterson, NJ. To best describe his sound would be futuristic and weird; like something you’ve never heard before. Since F.A.M.E. was a teen he’s been playing a range of instruments from drums to guitar to the trumpet.
His family was very musically inclined and so growing up in this environment heavily influenced his career. He currently has 2 songs on Fetty Wap’s upcoming album and has gone on Fetty’s last 3 tours with him. F.A.M.E. is currently working on his self-titled EP so definitely be on the lookout for that.
Soca Sounds brings Caribbean-inspired vibes to New Jersey.
Hosted by Kali (@hailstana) and KOSIMO CEO Sorab (@srocme) the event hosts and host company are poised to make a bountiful donation to The Puerto Rico & Caribbean Islands Relief Fund, a disaster relief project by Global Giving that aims to provide basic necessities for hurricane survivors. The charity is just $2,300 shy of their fundraising goal and we aim to make a contribution that will bring them closer to making their goal a realization.
Hurricane Maria caused devastating destruction and flooding in the Caribbean, destroying homes in Puerto Rico, Dominica, and the Virgin Islands just two weeks after Hurricane Irma. This fund will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. All donations to this fund will exclusively support any necessary hurricane relief and recovery efforts in the Caribbean.
